Lucky Ochieng

Meet 14-year-old Lucky Ochieng a class 8 pupil at Bridge Kiserian, Kajiado County. Lucky has been a pupil at Bridge for the last 6 years and he feels his teachers have been a huge help to his academic progress.

Lucky says before joining Bridge his academic performance was not that good but with time he started improving and today he is always among the top 3 pupils. Just as his name is “Lucky” he says he feels lucky to have studied at one of the Bridge Schools because it is one of the schools in his community that is known to do well.

“With the KCPE exams quickly approaching, we still have a few things to cover in the syllabus but I believe with my hard work, determination, and most importantly my teachers who go the extra mile to ensure I understand everything including offering extra classes, I am confident I will emerge victorious.” Says Lucky.

Today, the 5th of October is World Teachers Day and Lucky is grateful to his teachers for holding his hand every step of the way ever since he joined Bridge.

“My teachers have helped me transform into a good learner. In the areas where I am weak, they help me improve. Thank you to all teachers across the world for being there for all the children. We will forever remember you even long after we have left school.” He concludes.
