Children and young people require safeguarding for various reasons, including protection from poverty, violence, exclusion, and other adverse circumstances. We adamantly assert that no child should endure any form of abuse. Regardless of age, disability, gender, religious beliefs, ethnicity, or socio-economic background, all children deserve equal protection from abuse.
