The University of Nairobi is one of the largest universities in Kenya and offers nearly 200 different types of degrees. Thanks to their primary school foundation several Bridge graduates are now walking the hallways and pursuing their dreams.
Cynthia Meikan is a Bridge graduate from Bridge Illasit Academy in Kajiado County. She scored 379 marks in the KCPE which meant she had opportunities open up to her. Now, she is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nairobi. Neema Mueni is another Bridge graduate who is pursuing a Bachelors of Commerce degree at the University. Neema hails from Bridge Academy Rongai where she scored 387 marks in the KCPE.
The University of Nairobi has seen many innovations, which have contributed to its development and that of the nation. Now, there are children from Bridge schools who are proud to be part of that community.
