Boniface Areba
Boniface is a seasoned operations, strategy, and MEL expert with over eight years of experience driving performance, impact, and operational excellence across East Africa. Currently serving as Manager, Projects – Strategy and Operations, he excels at translating complex business challenges into actionable solutions, designing data-driven dashboards and evaluation frameworks, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency, accountability, and ROI. He has led operations and program evaluation for over 100 academies in Kenya and Uganda, overseeing financial planning, supply chain, program delivery, and compliance, while strengthening evidence-based decision-making and optimizing resource utilization.
A notable achievement in his career was serving as the National-Level Monitoring and Evaluation System Architect for an EU-funded livelihood programme across 17 counties in Kenya. Boniface designed and implemented an integrated M&E system with automated analysis pipelines and real-time dashboards, enabling County Government officials and project managers to track beneficiary outcomes, identify funding gaps, and respond faster to performance trends. His work has streamlined processes, and optimized resource utilization across funded and high-impact programmes.
