200 Golfers to battle for worthy cause
A field of 200 golfers will feature in the Finaltus charity golf tournament on Sunday at Sigona Golf. The tournament, which has been organized by the Investment and Transaction Advisory firm and the Bridge International Academies Foundation, is aimed at paying school fees for underprivileged children.
Finaltus Executive Director, Paul Kamau, said his company shall contribute one child’s term fees for every birdie or eagle scored during the charity event, under the Birdies for Education sustainability initiative.
“During this back-to-school period, we are privileged to partner with golfers participating in the “Sigovilla” tournament to raise school fees for underprivileged children. Finaltus and Bridge International academies have a shared belief that quality education is not a privilege but a fundamental right which is key in transforming generations,” said Kamau
“It will be interesting to see how the Kenyan amateur players will fare on this Birdies for Education sustainability initiative and how many underprivileged kids we can fundraise for school fees,” added Kamau.
