Tony Aswani

Alumnus
🌟 Today, on our Alumni Spotlight series, we are going to shine a light on 25-year-old Tony Aswani. A Bridge alumnus who has risen from Bridge Ongata Rongai to become an Advocate Trainee at the Kenya School of Law.
Tony’s journey is one of determination and growth. He joined Bridge Ongata Rongai in 2012 and completed Class 8 in 2015. When financial challenges threatened to disrupt his education, Bridge stepped in to ensure he stayed in school. That support became the foundation for his success:
■ KCPE: 367 marks
■ High school: B+ (funded by Bridge Academies Foundation & United Out We Reach)
■ Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Kabarak University — graduated with Honors in 2024
■ Now: Advocate Trainee, Kenya School of Law
His decision to study law is deeply rooted in a conviction that justice can change lives. He aspires to specialize in human rights, constitutional law, or public interest litigation — with the long-term vision of contributing to legal reforms, serving the underserved, and making the system more accessible to all Kenyans.
Tony’s story clearly showcases the impact of Bridge’s support: what began with a scholarship and a uniform in Ongata Rongai has now grown into a young legal mind ready to strengthen Kenya’s legal system.
➡️ We are proud of Tony’s achievements and the role we have played in his success.
